Use a serious voice for the build-up, then go huge on “OUCH!” so the room cracks up.

Stanza One

There once was a boy with fast feet,
Who never wore socks on the street.
He built LEGO towers,
For hours and hours—
Then stepped on one… OUCH! what a treat!

Stanza Two

He hopped and he yelped in the night,
A one-footed, wobbly delight.
“Oh why do I shout?”
“They’re all spread about!”
(He’d left every brick there—just right!) 😄
